Christina Milian is "nervous" about giving birth.

The singer-and-actress admits she can't stop thinking of the possibility her first daughter will arrive early and will be relying on the support of her husband, record producer The Dream, to help her through labour.

She said: "I am nervous about giving birth to the baby. That's probably the most nerve-wracking part of it all. Every day I wonder, 'What happens if she comes earlier than expected?' "

Christina - who is due to give birth in February 2010 - enjoyed a baby shower with close friends at the weekend.

The group were treated to manicures, pedicures and makeovers by Valerie Beverly Hills and feasted on cupcakes and Asian-inspired treats.

The 'Dip It Low' singer and The Dream married in September in a low-key Las Vegas ceremony, before saying their vows again in Italy a short time later.

The couple are reportedly planning a larger third wedding ceremony after they welcome their baby into the world.

Like all expectant mothers, Kourtney Kardashian, 30, whose first child with boyfriend Scott Disick is due this month, has a lot to learn about becoming a parent.

During her appearance on Thursday's The Rachael Ray Show, her sister Kim Kardashian, 29, admitted that she was actually quite surprised that Kourtney was becoming a mother at all:

Kourtney was never ever the type that I ever would think would ever want to have kids. She owns a kid's clothing store, and if a kid would come in she would be like, 'Where's your mom? You need to go find your mom and come in with her.' She didn't understand it and she wasn't that nurturing.

She went on to say that during pregnancy, her sister has "just completely changed."

Khloe Kardashian, 25, who appeared on the show with Kim, added that Kourtney assumed she would be breastfeeding for five years: "Kourtney was like 'I'm so excited, I don't have to cook for five years! And I go 'what do you mean?' She's like, 'I'm gonna breast feed.' I go, 'For five years?' She has, like, no idea!"

Dad to be, Scott, 26, recently told Us that Kourtney "will be a good mother" but also "strict."

"She knows how to take care of someone," he adds.

Kourtney and Scott's baby boy is due December 23.
