| Pregnancy - Must-Know Tips on How to Get Pregnant Faster Posted: 01 Dec 2009 09:53 AM PST When women are trying to get pregnant faster, some of them achieve their success in a satisfactory time line while the others may be disappointed after a few months of trial and error. Although you do not have fertility problems, you still could not get pregnant after you and your partner have put a lot of EFFORT to make it happen. Many factors have actually caused the repeated failures and here are some tips to help you to get pregnant faster. 1. Make sure you are in good health physically - before you want to get pregnant, you must make sure your body is healthy enough to support the whole process of pregnancy. Do exercises regularly, have healthy diet and consume sufficient vitamins and nutrition for your good health. Avoid any bad habits like drinking alcohol or smoking (you and your partner). This will affect the fertility of your bodies. 2. Make sure you are in good health mentally and emotionally - according to research, stress can complicate fertility issues for you and your partner. Hence, you should try to relax yourself and eliminate the negative thoughts on your mind. Yoga and appropriate breathing technique will be helpful to cope with your stress. 3. Learn and understand your reproductive cycle - knowing the time of ovulation of your body is important as it is the most precious time for you to be pregnant. Your body temperature will go up between.4 and.8 degree Fahrenheit during the exact day of ovulation. You can use Basal thermometer to measure your body temperature as its measurement is more precise. Besides that, during the day of ovulation, your cervix will become softer and wetter. These two features will help you to decide the period of ovulation in your body. Having sex during the time will bring you greater chance to be pregnant. 4. Use appropriate sexual positions - try to avoid sexual positions that involve sitting, standing, or straddling. Some positions like missionary position are useful in helping the sperm to swim up the vagina. This content has passed through fivefilters.org. |

| Exercise For Pregnant Women - 2 Exercises to Tone Up Your Body During Pregnancy For Maximum Sexiness Posted: 01 Dec 2009 09:28 AM PST Exercise for pregnant women has always been beneficial. If you ever doubted the benefits of exercise, then ERASE all that doubt from your mind COMPLETELY and hear me out. The way to any healthy life style, pregnancy period included, is having some sort of activity involved in your day. That doesn't mean you should run a marathon. But listen up; there are 2 really, I mean, REALLY easy ways to exercise, lose weight, and trim up while your pregnant. The best part is that you can choose 1 of the 2 to do and you'd still look amazing. 1. Swimming is a great pain reliever when it comes to strained joints and a stressed out back. So for a pregnant woman like you, swimming is one of the first options there are for you to exercise and trim up. So to get the exercising going and get a sexier body, swimming 20 to 30 minutes a week will do that pretty well for you. It will keep you in shape during your pregnancy and help you regain your naturally slimmer body with ease. 2. If there is anything better than swimming for a pregnant woman, it would HAVE to be walking. You can walk any time of day, wearing anything you want too! At home, outdoors, anywhere you want, and you'd still be burning decent calories, using up good muscle, and gaining valuable fitness. If you walk just 10 minutes a day, briskly, 5 times a week, and keep your food intake as-is, you'll lose AT LEAST 5 pounds of excess weight in one month. So keep this up, stay healthy, do NOT work too hard on the exercise. Keep it light and simple and you WILL see results and stay fit. This content has passed through fivefilters.org. |
| Signs of Infertility - Discover How to Detect Them Now! Posted: 01 Dec 2009 09:20 AM PST The signs of infertility are different from one woman to the next. Some women show early signs of infertility, while others don't realize it until they try to conceive. Infertility is not uncommon in women with over 7 million cases being reported in the United States each year. Sometimes, it is even the man in the relationship that is affected by infertility. In fact, male infertility is the cause of 40% of the cases in infertile couples. Women should see their doctor for infertility treatment if she and her partner are trying unsuccessfully to get pregnant. The definition of "trying" is having unprotected intercourse at least three times per week for one year. The first step is to see your primary care physician or your OBGYN to have any fertility problems diagnosed. Your doctor may then refer you to a specialist for treatment or further evaluation. Irregular Menstrual Cycle The most common of the signs of infertility is an irregular menstrual cycle. Keep in mind that while an irregular menstrual cycle is one of the many signs of infertility, it can mean many other things. An irregular menstrual cycle does not necessarily mean that a woman is experiencing infertility. Weight Problems- Overweight or Underweight Weight problems can also be a sign of infertility for more than one reason. Either being overweight or underweight can be an indication of a problem. Women who border on being emaciated may have trouble conceiving because they are not getting the proper nutrients from their diet. Obese women may also have trouble conceiving because the extra weight can cause hormonal problems. These hormonal problems can, in turn, cause problems with a woman's reproductive system. Substance Abuse Another problem that can cause a woman to have problems conceiving is substance abuse. This can include both drugs and alcohol. These are causes of infertility as opposed to signs of infertility, but they can both make it hard for a woman to conceive. Women who use and abuse alcohol and illegal drugs are harming their bodies and affecting the way they work. They are likely to be unable to produce a child because the illegal drugs or alcohol can depress growth and development of the fetus. Male Infertility Physical or anatomical problems can be signs of infertility seen in men. One factor in infertility in men is un-descended testicles; while other times infertility in men is caused by an outside source. A man can have problems producing viable sperm for conception because his pants or underwear are too tight. The inability to produce children can also be caused by excessive heat exposure to the scrotum. Many of the signs of infertility in men and women are the same. Weight problems and substance abuse are two causes of infertility that can affect both a man and woman's ability to produce children. The same reasons a woman cannot conceive or carry a pregnancy can also cause a man to have a low sperm count or poor sperm motility. Ovulation-The importance of good timing Before couples who have not conceived assume they are infertile, they should take steps to have intercourse during the time that the woman is ovulating. This is a better solution if she is not getting pregnant than immediately going to the doctor for infertility treatment. A woman can do a couple of different things aside from seeing the doctor. She should first try tracking her basal body temperature or using an ovulation kit to predict the right time to have intercourse. If she is not ovulating or cannot conceive even while having intercourse during the right time of the month, she should then see her doctor for an evaluation. Summary: Learn how to detect several different signs of infertility and discover what you can do to stop many of them from occurring. This content has passed through fivefilters.org. |
| Top Tips For Helping You Get Pregnant Posted: 01 Dec 2009 09:00 AM PST For some couples getting pregnant seems to be as easy as just having sex, for others it can be difficult and emotionally draining. The key thing to remember is that biologically speaking it isn't all that easy to get pregnant, conditions have to be right, and understanding the basics can go a long way towards helping. The first and most obvious tip is to make sure you are having sex at the times when you are most fertile. What is less obvious is how you determine when this is! Follow these simple steps to help you understand what to do and when. 1. Watch the Calendar Use a day planner or simple calendar to mark the day on which your period begins, and track how long each period lasts. If you have a regular 28 day cycle then you are likely to begin ovulating around 14 days after the day on which your last period started. This is somewhat simplified, many women have a longer or shorter cycle so you may need to adjust, but this is a very easy and quick way to help remind you when you are likely to be at your most fertile. 2. Cervical Mucus changes Before ovulating many women notice a change in the consistency of their vaginal secretions. Just before ovulation it is likely to be clear and slippery, where as after ovulation it can become cloudy and stickier, or may disappear completely. This is an easy thing to check, but the changes can be more or less obvious in some women, but it is very accurate for predicting ovulation. 3. Chart your Basal Temperature Basal Temperature is your resting body temperature. Ovulation causes a very slight increase in basal temperature, often less than a degree so you will need an accurate basal thermometer to track the changes. You will be at your most fertile during the days just before your temperature rises. You will need to plot your temperature for a couple of months at least before you see the pattern emerge, but this is an easy, cheap and very accurate way to predict ovulation. 4. Hormone Testing kits. Over the counter ovulation testing kits detect the change in hormone levels in your urine just before ovulation. Kits are available in most pharmacies without a prescription and can be very accurate, however the cost of the kits can be prohibitive for some couples. 5. Don't stress out! Remember that conceiving can take time, and stress really won't help. With frequent sex most couples of normal health will conceive within a year, but it can take longer. If you have been trying for over a year or are over 35 then you may want to consult a doctor or fertility specialist, but give it a go on your own first. Infertility affects both men and women, in equal measure, and there are lots of treatment options available depending on the circumstances, but get the basics right and you will be giving yourself the best chance of becoming pregnant, with or without other treatments!
