| Tips to Get Pregnant With a Baby Girl - Few Things You Must Take Note Of Posted: 22 Nov 2009 07:11 AM PST If you are searching for some tips to get pregnant with a baby girl, the best way is to seek advice from the gender selection clinics. Lots of medical and health clinics are providing their services online and at local areas to serve for the needs of couples. However, the fee will definitely not be cheap. Don't worry, here are some tips for you to get pregnant with a baby girl. These tips are easy to understand. First of all, we'll start with understanding the sperms. Sperms of your husband is the key that determine the gender of your baby. Facts of getting pregnant with a girl baby In general terms there are basically two main types of sperm that can produce male or female babies- Male chromosomes and female chromosomes. The sperms that produce boys basically have a shorter lifespan but are able to swim faster. In the case of getting pregnant with a baby girl, it is essential to have sexual intercourse just 1or 2 days before ovulation. This is to ensure more male sperms die while more amount of female sperms able to reach the egg, hence your chance of getting pregnant with a girl increases. Sexual tips for having a baby girl Some may suggest that sexual position doesn't matter much. Well, personally I would suggest that you better take this into account if you want a higher chance to get pregnant with a girl. Having sex on the bed with the lady on top of male will increase the chances of being pregnant with a girl baby. One thing your husband needs to know is that he needs to ejaculate at position a little further from the cervix to ensure that lesser male sperms make it to the egg. | Pregnancy Nausea - Night-Time Morning Sickness Posted: 21 Nov 2009 11:42 PM PST I want to tell you a little story about pregnancy nausea at night. Yes, you read that right. Morning sickness can occur at night, which is why the term "morning sickness" is such a misleading one. I was about seven weeks pregnant and everything was going along fine. I was taking my vitamins, my morning sickness didn't seem too bad, and I felt pretty good. Then one night, I was watching Late Night with Conan O'Brien. The minute he started his monologue, my nausea started. This isn't some jab at Conan O'Brien's humor; I actually like his jokes and television show (which is now The Tonight Show.) That first time it happened, the nausea hit me so hard that I barely made it to the bathroom on time. I spent the next hour or so throwing up. I chalked it up to something I had eaten at dinner that evening. The next day, I felt a little queasy in the morning and had some morning sickness symptoms pop up throughout my day, but all-in-all, I was feeling pretty good again. I had also made it through dinner okay and was considering some dessert while I was watching Friends. I didn't even make it through the end of the intro song when the nausea hit again. Man, did I feel like garbage. Once again, I vomited off and on for the next couple of hours. I remember how concerned I was that this was the second night in a row that this had happened. When I had considered what I had eaten that night, which was pasta with marinara-based sauce, and the night before, which was also pasta with marinara-based sauce (yes, that was what I had craved during that pregnancy), I figured it was probably the heavy meals that had turned my stomach. I decided that I would go for something a little less rich the next night to see if I could stop this from happening again. No such luck. Even though I had eaten a fairly tame dinner of baked chicken breast, the pregnancy nausea and vomiting were back that night. After a couple of hours in the bathroom, I was able to go to sleep. Part of what kept me up was the worrying about my baby. I thought that there had to be something wrong with my baby. With my previous pregnancy, the symptoms lasted throughout the day, but they were pretty much done once I hit the dinner hour. I couldn't figure out why this kept happening night after night. When I got up the next day, I called my doctor to make an appointment. I was able to get in to talk to my doctor. I told her what was happening, so she examined me and said that everything looked fine. I asked her about the throwing up at night, and she told me that it's not uncommon for women to experience morning sickness at night. She said that as long as I was able to keep fluids and food in during the day, my body could absorb the nutrients the baby needed to grow. She told me that if the condition worsened, to give her a call. Although I was quite embarrassed about panicking, I felt much better know that this kind of thing was normal. Reading this story, I hope you have some sort of reassurance that your pregnancy nausea at night is perfectly normal. But, if you are at all worried, you should call your doctor and let him or her know your concerns. This content has passed through fivefilters.org. |
| Pre and Post Conception Health - What Everyone Ought to Know Posted: 21 Nov 2009 05:34 PM PST At any time, the state of your own health should be of concern to you. When you are pregnant however, your health is more important because it doesn't just include you, but your baby as well. If you are attempting to get pregnant then you want to make sure your body is in good shape just as you would when you are pregnant. Here are a few things you should be doing prior to conceiving: - Evaluate any bad habits you may have and stop them, this includes smoking, drinking excess amounts of alcohol, and indulging in high fat foods - Ensure you are getting a reasonable amount of exercise, getting your body in shape before you have your child is going to help you with losing any necessary weight gain afterwards - Evaluate any medications you are taking and discuss any impacts of not taking them or pregnancy side effects with your doctor. It goes without saying recreational drug use should be stopped. - Keep track of your monthly periods. This way you will know your best times for fertility, and also have a good idea of when you might have actually conceived! - Start taking pre-natal vitamins now. Folic acid is important to developing babies, but you might as well start a vitamin routine now so when you are pregnant you are already in the habit After you are pregnant you are going to want to start some things you might not already have started. Here is a list of what you need to consider with regards to your health after you are pregnant: - If you haven't stopped smoking, drinking or eating fatty foods, make a concentrated effort to now - Exercise during pregnancy is important, but you don't need to overdo it. Light exercise that is comfortable to you is enough. Consult with your doctor also prior to starting up a routine, you don't want anything too strenuous and you will need to discuss any health or pregnancy concerns with a professional first - Keep visits with your doctor. This is not a time when you want to be missing appointments. Not only would you miss the fun of hearing things like your babies heartbeat, but if you do end up having any issues, you want them noted and treated immediately - Eat a lot of healthy foods. You might crave constant junk food, but you want to stick to eating healthy vegetables and fruit, whole grains, and fresh meats. The more junk food you fill up on the more goes to the baby and you don't want to restrict him or her from getting enough vitamins - Try to avoid places where you might contract an illness. If you are traveling or around a lot of people wash your hands frequently. No one wants to get sick at the best of times, and if you are pregnant it can be a much rougher recovery period In the end the health choices you make are going to affect both you and your unborn child, so try to make the right choices when it comes to lifestyle decisions. Wanting to have the best health for your child is the first step to being a great parent! This content has passed through fivefilters.org. |
